Gifting is the act of sharing love with someone else. In this context, it is sharing a creators rewards with someone else. You pay for their sponsorship, the creator gets more funding, and the giftee gets to enjoy the rewards as if they were sponsoring directly!

Creators can generate codes whenever they wish for how ever much they want. Any sponsorships redeemed from the creator will not affect their monthly income stats.

Gifting a sponsorship is super simple. The only prerequite you need is to already be sponsoring the creator. To buy a code, you should go to the creators join page (found after clicking "support" on one of the tiers, or by going to /u/creatorsname/join). If you click via the tier, you will be taken straight to the checkout page. Once you pay in the checkout, you will be given a code to give to anyone you wish. If the person does not have an account, they will be asked to set one up before redeeming.

The expires after dropdown allows you to control how long the code is active for. At the start of the month, we check to see if the code allows them access for one more month. If the code expires between the 1st and the start of the next month we cancel the sponsorship before the payment.
